The Other Witch
The Other Witch is an award-winning solo dance-theatre work inspired by Mary Wigman’s Hexentanz (1914). Blending ritual, physical intensity, and theatrical transformation, the piece reclaims the witch as a symbol of resilience, intuition, and embodied knowledge. The Other Witch premiered as a virtual solo film in three segments in November 2020. The live premier of the Other Witch finally happened in 2024 at the Ruth Page Dance Center.
