Nejla Yatkin is an award-winning choreographer, dancer, and Guggenheim Fellow whose work bridges cultures, histories, and contemporary movement practices. Born in Germany and based in Chicago, she has created and performed internationally for over four decades, presenting acclaimed solo works and commissions across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Her choreography explores memory, ritual, transformation, and the body as an archive of lived experience.
